Diversity in Equality

If every one was equal
then why there is a grade?
Why some are white
and some have a shade.

If every one was equal
then why there are the poor?
Why some live behind glass
and some below the class.

If every one was equal
then why they ask your caste?
Why from high to low
the difference is still vast.

If every one was equal
then why not their thoughts?
Why some went to school
and some even without, can rule.

So here's what I strongly feel
You may agree or argue still.
We are proud of our diversity
but, shy from a harsh reality.

There is unity in diversity, we are told
but, diversity in equality is what beholds.
There's little, just you alone can do
but, if we think alike, this could be true.

Though some things destiny may trace
you can change it's plan at your own pace.
B'cos each one has a battle to brace
and we all are running to win our own race.
