Today was Men's Day

Yes. It was. For now. It rightly 'was'.
The day is over. As every day does ever.

Hardly a celebration. Hardly a wish.
Not that we needed. But, also noone heeded.

Thanks to the few who knew.
And, also let us know that it was.

Thanks also to all the others,
Who made us realise that 'it was'.

Never mind.
We have no expectation.
We didn't feel bad.
And, neither so happy.

For now, the happy hours are over.
So order two beers and just say cheers.
